    Lovely stuff.

    There’s a minor typo in panel 11. I think it should read “The Vatican didn’t sanction it…”, though “The Vatican never sanctioned it” would also work.

    Also in panel 11 the use of excomulgated works but ‘excommunicated’ is more commonly used in English.
