Wow, intense! This is the story of the walkthrough makers. They have to play the same game over and over to uncover it’s deepest darkest secrets. At least that’s what I understood from the story hehe. Nice! First time I comment on a stumble, great work!
I imagine the people who seek advice from the gamer are not as well-off as the people who struggle through hardships and gain the answers for themselves. I think this underscores a growing problem in our society; people wanting easy answers to things without work and sacrifice. They want God to just give them the solution.
I usually like these comics, but this one is a fascinating take on a very familiar theme in my life. (A major reason I’m religious/spiritual is because I *am* allowed a peek at the cosmic walkthrough sometimes. I don’t think cheating that way that takes points off our final score as long as we don’t mess up our saved game with weird third-party apps…oops, taking the metaphor too far. ^_^;; )
This one’s lovely intense. Well, like they all are, but I really the concept this time (: It’s even more unusal.
Beautiful, to a hair-raising degree!

“He stays there. You continue”
Lovely.
I adore the last two lines, as I almost always do. Juan, you’re wonderful at writing perfect endings.
This is fantastic, it has that ring of truth to it, and that air of meaning floating just out of reach that makes art memorable and moving. Good work.
There is now a SecretKnots Universe with this Curtain restaurant.

But the Break-Up Coffeeshop can also be a place for beginnings.
Indeed! There are more connections to discover in the next stories, you’ll see.

That’s pretty awesome. I rarely leave comments (this might be the first) on comix I see, but for some reason this one hit me pretty solidly.
