Where did you get this idea from?
Juan
You know, I was actually reading a book when I started to think about this idea. And now I can’t remember which book it was!

The face of the child in the gondola is amazing. Your art is always wonderful, but I think that’s the most striking single frame of your I’ve seen.

Thank you! I tried a couple of times, with that panel, to get it right. I’m very glad to hear it’s someone’s favorite.

This is really moving to me as an artist…thinking about all the things that influence us, and who influenced them…a vast chain reaching as far back as the first human

Thank you!

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful.
I think so too.

I had recently read Christopher Baldwin’s webcomic Spacetrawler, a rollicking, humorous, cynical space adventure of kidnapped humans trying to save an enslaved race and the galaxy. I followed that by reading what I came to realize was more of a serious Sci fi comic, One Way, also by him, with a much darker tone.
I’ve read Sci fi since I was 8, and used to revel in the variety of settings and tones of stories I consumed, but time is an investment now, and my appetites in narrative and more directed, so I clicked on some old links to distract myself from processing the One Way ending.
I’m glad I found this, so good, it moved me. Midnight in Paris vibes.

Absolute genius. The narrative is beautifully conceived. Thank you for creating this.
