Eighteen Eighty one

Edit: thanks to Reddit user garlic_lollipop who pointed out that the comic was missing the last panel! It's fixed now.

New Secret Knots comic: "1881".  If you know someone who you think would like it, you can easily share it with the button to post on Mastodon, Bsky, Facebook, etc. That's how people get here most of the time.

This comic was brought to you thanks to the support of kind Patreon subscribers, such as Phil Gooch.

I'd love to have a palindrome that made sense to add here in the text, but I think I've had enough of flipping things for a while; there will be a full dossier post about this comic, with extras and references, on Patreon soon, though.

Wait! Here's one: ailihphilia ;)

Brief report

Hi, I’ve been a bit complicated lately, with an awful case of allergies that became a persistent flu later, that’s why I’m somewhat behind updates and some patrons drawings getting done. So, apologies, but right now I think I’m finally getting back on track. (that, up there is from a new comic) Thanks!

Things about August

Hello there. This feed has been silent for some weeks so here’s what I’ve been up to.

First of all, I moved The Secret Knots to a new hosting, which was funded mostly by this patreon, plus a private commission. Thanks everyone! Some readers also helped me to check that the rss feeds were in order too, which is really important for an erratically updated webcomic such as mine. Or “comics / comix”, as Feedly is tagging it right now.

I did a first batch of patrons drawings which you can see up there. Even though I struggle a bit with likenesses, I’ve always liked to draw readers’ faces. I’ve done it a couple of times in the context of comics before. I expect to get better at it with the exercise, and make fun drawings for you, since this month will bring a larger amount of patreon sketches.

I keep getting new patrons and it’s becoming a fine reward for producing new comics, so I set up a new goal to increase the updates, by leaving other commitments aside. (Besides my day job, I often work  on freelance graphic design gigs) We’re well on our way to hit that goal.

I’m working on a new short comic that should be posted soon. I’ll let you know in advance.

Thanks again!
