    i don’t really know how to articulate it but this comic means a lot to me, the ending especially. i spend a lot of time in virtual worlds myself – playing mmos a lot – and sometimes you see little memorials in these worlds, especially after covid. a furniture item in a guild estate, notes written to the deceased in a message board, a mod immortalizing someone as a part of their favorite game, or beloved community members becoming an official part of that game. digital ghosts and echoes that persist, unchanging; but the idea that some change might happen, that some mutation of the engine or the love of others might cause something new to sprout there, gives me a lot of heart. thanks for putting this out here. 🙂
