This was quite funny.
Made me look up “Montecassino abbey folios” juuuuuuust in case the comic is based on a true story. 😀 I guess it’s the mark of the great storyteller.
While I’m not very fond of the “reality surpasses fiction” thing, if you google “medieval doodles” you may find some really interesting and funny things 🙂
I absolutely love the sketches that monks used to draw in their texts. There’s some real weird ones that are just precious.
I’m sure everything in this comic runs short regarding historical reality 😉
