The long persistence of art in the digital world, carried on by its fans… quite captivating. I have so much respect for digital archivists, or really any archivists of ‘unimportant’ works that nonetheless move them. The glimpse of the future, with anime-styled A.I. assisstants metaverse blocking the files on copyright grounds, all with blushing, moé mannerisms and emoticons… grimly (and absurdly) accurate, in a good way.
