As I commented somewhere else, I was thinking specifically about a scene in “Double life of Veronica” (http://imdb.com/title/tt0101765/) where the wrong end of a cigarette is implied in a key moment.
Why did she smoke her cigarette backwards? Is she trying to commit suicide by poisoning her lungs with burnt styrofoam?
