I actually watched Haruhi Suzumiya after comments on this comic. It was great and also, somewhat an influence for the Martin Kardec comic I’m doing now.
“This episode is considered non-canon by fans and producers alike”. I laughed, I can really imagine newsgroups and forums about this whole ”non-canonical” ending.
But actually, The Spirit Cabinet was linked to “The Tommy Westphall Universe Hypothesis”.
Fifteen years later the repeating device would be used in the infamous “Endless Eight” arc of the popular anime The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, where it is justified in-universe as the characters being stuck in a time loop, although the anime’s director, Tatsuya Ishihara, claims not to have been aware of The Spirit Cabinet before creating “Endless Eight”.
Juan, if you made TV I would watch it.

The narrator looks like Jason Alexander. I’d watch this show. I love the secret knots.

Thank you, again.
